Rainmaking (the hardest part of being a lawyer)

The hardest part of being a lawyer is not lawyering.

It’s doing the first step that it takes before we can do lawyering.

Sales.

Marketing.

Getting the PC to turn into a real client.

They don’t teach rainmaking in law school.

No one has perfected it down to a science.

It’s mostly art.

Do they like you?

If they like you, they’ll like to hire you.
